Mrs. Olufunke Abidemi Adenusi, mni, is one of the progressive and multi-disciplinary insurance professional ladies in Nigeria. She started her insurance profession at Glanvill Enthoven & Co (Insurance Brokers) in 1984 till 1993 and rose to the position of Controller / Head of Department. She moved to Olympia Insurance Nigeria Limited as Deputy General Manager and resigned to pioneer her company, Colximate Insurance Brokers Limited as the Managing Director in 1994 till date.
A graduate of Insurance and holder of a Master of Science in Business Administration from the prestigious University of Lagos. Mrs. Olufunke Adenusi mni is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute London and Associate of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. She was a Governing Council member of the CIIN and Governing Board member of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) for about 11 years to date. Formerly the Chairman of the Lagos Area Committee of the NCRIB for two years, she is also a member of the Professional Insurance Ladies Association (PILA). A philanthropist, she is the first female in the insurance industry to be awarded the “mni” (Member of the National Institute) National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies. She was recently recognized as one of the “Top 50 women in Insurance in Africa”. Under her stewardship, Colximate Insurance Brokers Limited have recorded tremendous success and a large portfolio of clients with diverse interests spanning Banking, Oil and Gas, Haulage, Manufacturing, Government, Trading and Professional Services as well as Individuals. These have been achieved through professional and prompt service delivery by our well trained and competent staff which enhanced the growth and development of COLXIMATE till date.
